Exclusive to Emmerson Kitney, we are now recruiting for the post of HR Manager. My clients have a proven track record in the leisure industry and specialise in turnarounds. They currently operate 5 individual outlets.
This newly created, stand alone role will work closely with the directors and operations manager, you will be responsible for the welfare of the organisation's staff. Your role will be varied and challenging.
You must make sure that the organisation is employing the right people, with the right skills and qualifications for the job, as well as searching for and nurturing existing talent and potential with a view to promote from within.
You'll need an excellent understanding of how the organisation operates its business requirements and commercial objectives. You'll work very closely with other departments and provide an information resource for both employees and senior management. You'll be concerned with developing, advising, implementing and communicating management policies. You will be involved in all aspects of the role.
This is a full time, 40 hour week role, generally based at the company's head office in East Yorkshire, but with travel to other sites where required. Due to the nature of the business, some work out of regular office hours may be required as part of your job.
This role would suit an experienced Senior HR professional at HR Business Partner or Manager Level looking for their next challenge. You will ideally have experience in the SME sector. You will be confident in pushing forward new initiatives at senior management level and happy to be hands on where required.
