The Opportunity: Office Manager

Location: Stallingborough

Salary: £25,000

Benefits: 25 days plus 8 bank holiday days

Hours: 8am- 5pm

Emmerson Kitney are proud to be working in Partnership with, Brooksby Projects Ltd. Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Office Manager to assist and oversee with the day to day running of the business.

As the Office Manager you will play a pivotal role within the Business, working closely with staff in and out of the office, providing insight into specific details, assisting the team achieve their goals and drive process and system improvement forward.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual who has relevant skills and is looking to join a rapidly growing business. You will be commercially minded and up for a challenge, you will want to develop your skills and knowledge to help with the development of your career.

As Office Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Dealing with site requests – Requisition forms and making sure the site has what they need
  • Finding out deliveries ETAs for project mangers
  • Looking after the delivery in/out system – expediting deliveries and making sure certs/delivery notes are uploaded onto the system. Any discrepancies followed up with the supplier
  • General customer service – answering phones etc.
  • First call for visitors – sort meeting room/food
  • Book hotels/accommodation/trains/flights
  • Raising orders – design/installation/transport/galvanising
  • Recording NCR’s
  • Working with Senior Management on compliance/site maintenance

As the Office Manager you will be:

  • Commercially driven and aware, dynamic, forward thinking and aware of other departments within the business
  • Excellent Microsoft office knowledge, especially the use of Excel
  • Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures
  • Able to work with responsibility and integrity
  • Excellent time management skills and problem-solving skills 
  • Experience of Building and facilities management
  • Highly motivated and able to work to under own initiative when given a high-level brief
  • Good attention to details and confidence to present details to management team
  • Have excellent time management skills, as well as confidence and working well within a team
  • Have use of own car and able to travel if requested, you will also be flexible on working hours if required to work out of hours
