River seeks multiples Sales people to drive group growth

Opportunity 1 (Renewables Business Development Manager) 

Salary: Circa £30,000 basic plus uncapped bonus (£50,000 OTE) plus excellent benefits

Location: Hull and Nationwide

The successful Renewables Business Development Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop, implement, manage and effectively communicate a contact strategy for clients, prospective customers and partners.

  • Proactively create new opportunities using various contact strategies including cold calling.

  • Follow up new in bound enquiries by taking telephone or in person calls or contacting customers following receipt of an enquiry.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts on a monthly basis

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential customers or groups, ensuring you enhance the brand and perception of the company.

  • Be the renewables expert for the company with focus on solar, electrical charge points, LED lighting, turbine etc.

The Person

The successful candidate will ideally be from a sales background with the ability to self-generate their own leads and capitalise on the businesses current connections. The successful candidate should have a self starter attitude and want to succeed in a sales environment. The opportunity would really suit individuals who have come from a renewables background or who may have a client based in the manufacturing, FMCG or leisure and hospitality industry's.

Opportunity 2 (Telecoms Business Development Manager)

The successful Telecoms Business Development Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Follow up on new in bound enquiries ensuring the prospects are qualified correctly and follow ups are actioned

  • Proactively create new opportunities using various contact strategies including cold calling, networking, up-selling, cross-selling and site visits.

  • Following up with sales leads with a tenacious can do attitude

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts on a monthly basis

  • Responsible for maintaining the CRM system in relation to all sales and prospective sales, providing regular updates and comparison against market trends.

  • Attend regular networking and marketing events to promote services, secure business and increase the company and your personal brand.

The Person

The succesful person will have a succesful track record in B2B sales, a tenacious attitdude to go out and win new business through pro-active activity as well as a resiliant attitude to bouncing back. The role would really suit individuals who have worked in the telecoms industry or who have sold technical products in to decision makers nationally.

Opportunity 3 (Energy Broker) 

Salary: Circa £25,000 basic plus uncapped bonus (£50,000 OTE) plus excellent benefits

Location: Hull and Nationwide

The successful Telecoms Business Development Manager will be responsible for the following: 

  • Completing outbound activity in a B2B environment using their database, new leads, renewals and enquiries

  • The ability to create long term relationships because of the opportunity to renew on an annual basis

  • Managing a CRM system, ensuring detailed notes are completed and updated with a consistent approach

  • Creating strong relationships with your providers and showing knowledge on the market and current financials

  • Account Managing your existing portfolio of clients

  • Keeping on top of the energy market to a professional standard

The Person 

This succesful Energy Broker will ideally have a minimum of 5 years experience in an Energy Broker position and in a B2B enviroment. This opportunity will suit candidates who are money motivated and want to develop a strong portfolio of clients who will come back and renew because of the relationship developed so this position requires both tenacity and a consultative approach.
