The newly-formed Environmental Division is seen as a key strategic growth area within the wider business, and is expanding its team as part of its ambition to become a market leader within the heat pump industry.

Ideal’s parent company has been the French market leader in heat pumps for more than 15 years, and will work closely with the Environmental Division in Hull throughout the research and product development process.

It is anticipated that Ideal Heating will start selling heat pumps in the UK in 2021.

Adam Foy, Executive Officer, Environmental Division, at Ideal Heating, commented: “We are committed to being at the forefront of the decarbonisation of domestic and commercial heating in the UK, and are investing in the skills and resources we need to make that a reality.

“We’re already in a strong position thanks to the unique opportunity we have to combine our group-wide heating expertise with our in-depth knowledge of the UK and Irish markets, in developing new, greener solutions that meet the individual needs of our customers.”
