IT Project Manager Sought By Global Heating Giant

In 2015 Groupe Atlantic acquired Hull based Ideal Heating, recognising the quality of their products and their place not only in the UK market but also in the European market. Since then, there has been significant investment in the Hull site to enable an increase in production capacity; they have expanded the R&D facilities and modernised and improved manufacturing techniques. The Opportunity - IT Project Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Groupe Atlantic’s Infrastructure team as a Project Manager. Groupe Atlantic's aim is to create more structure in their exisitng team freeing up thier technical team to focus on delivery. The project management team will be tasked with creating project roadmaps, ensuring successful delivery of the project portfolio.

The successful IT Project Manager will focus on both existing infrastructure projects as well as preparing for project pipeline. The projects examples include new roll outs, connectivity and third party integrations.

As the IT Project Manager, you will report to The Head of Business Systems and be responsible for;

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Challenge requirements to ensure cohesion and consistency.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion; continually manage expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools.
Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.
Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals and where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments, if necessary, during project cycle.
Submit budget proposals and recommend changes where necessary.

To be the successful IT Project Manager, you must have;

University degree or college diploma; Certifications such as ITIL, Prince2, Agile/CSP methodologies.
4 years’ direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
Strong familiarity with project management software advantageous eg. Monday.com; MSP; Jira; GitHub
Experience working with infrastructure and networks would be advantageous
