They are now looking to expand their IT function by hiring a Systems and Infrastructure Engineer who has experience in building and maintaining servers for their large multi-purpose site.

As the IT Systems and Infrastructure Analyst, you will report to It Director and be responsible for:

  • Supporting and developing the colleges system and infrastructure
  • Managing systems anti-virus systems ensuring they are robust
  • To maintain relationships with external IT Support and application partners and be pro-active with software patching and upgrades
  • Monitoring equipment replacement and warranty schedules
  • To administer, develop and embed the use of Microsoft 365 within the college
  • To upgrade and replace hardware throughout the organisation and install and configure hardware and software
  • To continuously look at improvement specifically around IT processes and systems with the aim of creating more efficiency
  • Work with key academics
  • Develop implementation plans, manage upgrades and testing prior to deployment

To be the successful It Systems and Infrastructure Analyst you should have experience in building, configuring and maintaining servers, ideally some networking experience, the ability to problem solve and have a proactive attitude towards work.
