Join Reality Solutions as Business Development Manager

Hull based IT Solutions provider Reality Solutions are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their growing team and concentrate on their IT Managed Services solutions.

Reality Solutions are very well-established, having recently celebrated their 20th year in business. Over that period, they have built up a base of over 500 businesses, majority of whom are  based in the Yorkshire region and are using their services or buying their products on a regular basis. At present, they have a team of 28 employees who pride themselves on an open, honest culture and have a joint aim of providing a premier service to their clients.

Reality Solutions offer bespoke and ‘off the shelf’ Managed IT Service functions for businesses who do not have their own in-house IT department.

They provide financial solutions through their premier partner Sage, as well as hardware products including laptops and mobiles. Richard Holt, Amy Pittock and Alistair Burnett are at the helm of Reality Solutions and have ambitious plans to further grow the business. As a result of this growth, they are looking to pursue a Business Development Manager to help further expand their customer base and increase their revenue.

The Opportunity - Business Development Manager

Reality Solutions are now looking at expand their team by bringing in a Business Development Manager to help grow their customer base further as well as increasing revenue.   This role will report to the board.  The successful Business Development Manager will be financially well rewarded and will have the opportunity to take on increased responsibility and to progress within in the business. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for identifying new client opportunities 
  • Engaging with lapsed clients 
  • You are responsible for creating an action plan for engaging with both prospective and lapsed clients
  • Focusing on converting opportunities and creating a great customer journey
  • Consistently achieving revenue goals 
  • Assessing the viability of all inbound enquiries and follow up action
  • Managing all new client outbound quotes
  • Following up all quotes – daily/weekly
  • Liaising with the IT Director and internal Sales Team regarding the pricing requests for Hardware and Software products
  • Ensuring that pricing structures are continuously looked at and kept up to date 
  • Be responsible for developing a pipeline of potential customers 
  • Working closely with the Technical Team to ensure that client offerings are achievable and realistic
